Vampires and the Civil War continued...

Recently, a new book came out...Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Written by the same author as Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Seth-Grahame Smith brings to us the "true" history of Abraham Lincoln as a Vampire Hunter. This book is written as a biography of Lincoln based off of "secret diaries" given to Smith by a vampire, Henry Sturges. It is said in the book that Lincoln's birth mother did not die of milk sickness (which is true, becuase we all know vampires are not real) but rather to being given a "fool's dose" of vampire blood. In this "diary," Linocln vowes he will kill as many vampires as he can.

Although vampires are factored into this account of Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War, there is a minute amount of truth...The south loses the war and sadly, Lincoln is assassinted by John Wilkes Booth at Ford's Theater.

Vampires are prominent in pop culture now and it is unsure how soon this craze willl die out, but until then, all you vampire lovers, enjoy the literature and explore the worlds/times your favorite stories are set in.
